All too often, the average citizen’s view of the police comes from high-profile tragedies such as the events of Ferguson, Missouri, or the cherry-picked, adrenaline-charged interactions shown on the TV show Cops. These examples do not represent the true range of situations that make up a patrol officer’s daily routine. The 57 true-life stories presented in Stupid Citizens focus on humorous police interactions, from the point of view of the officer who lived through them. Jackson brings a decade’s worth of police experience to the forefront in Stupid Citizens. The stories are meant to entertain while also serving the dual-purpose of informing the reader on how modern policework is conducted at the street level. This book was a labor of love for Jackson, and he hopes you enjoy it! "Officer Blue’s experiences are representative of what all police officers experience, and his book increased my respect and sympathy for all police officers." -Judge, 25th Annual Writer’s Digest Book Awards "This book is extremely useful for teaching citizens about their rights and expectations of others towards them as regards law and conduct." -Judge, 25th Annual Writer’s Digest Book Awards
Stupid Citizens Jackson Blue Books
There is nothing I enjoy more than stories involving the police dealing with crazy people. There are many of them in this book, and I loved reading every one. Jackson goes to great lengths to explain the law by using easy-to-understand language. He dealt with a variety of people from all walks in life, and many stories veer in directions you wouldn't expect. This is a well-crafted book that I would recommend to anyone.Product details

Stupid Citizens Jackson Blue Books Reviews
I recently purchased Stupid Citizens, and I love it! It’s an easy read, with very funny stories. I liked the explanations in the book. It’s nice to know how the police operate and why. I highly recommend!
Stories may have been good, I wouldn't know. I couldn't get past all the parentheses with explanations and definitions. It's a jumbled mess.
Thank you sir for you service! I enjoyed reading your book, being a cop is now very dangerous in this day and age unfortunately. I remember Beer Gate, and thought it was a ridiculous law only helping criminals, since then more ridiculous laws have been put on law enforcement, only resulting in major cities having higher crime rates, hopefully this will change! Once again thank you for a great book !
It was very fun and easy to read. I like how the author explains things so that someone who isn't familiar with the profession can understand it. I hope they write a second book, will definitely buy again!
This expose on daily police officer experiences is jaw-dropping. It gives you a true appreciation of our men and women in blue and the everyday challenges they face from the totally ridiculous situations to life threatening ones. This work of art provides a fairly unbiased view - giving both officers and its suspected culprits (innocent or guilty) their due credit - for in the end we are all human and make mistakes regardless of what side of the law we are on. As Denzel Washington said in Training Day, to the author, My Man!!!
I recently purchased Stupid Citizens, and I loved it! I never knew how many humorous situations officers encounter on a regular basis. Jackson Blue also does a great job at explaining the principles of basic policework. This book should be standard reading for anyone looking for entertaining stories involving the police. I highly recommend it!
I was looking for a book with funny stories, and I hit the jackpot with Stupid Citizens. I'm a big fan of stories involving the police, and this book was chock full of them. I enjoyed how Jackson explains in each chapter what laws were broken by the people he interacted with and how things could have been resolved in a much better way. Not only did I get some good laughs, but I also gained insight into officers' daily lives on the streets and how they interpret many common laws. Excellent read, and I highly recommend!
