A sensual contemporary romance from an award-winning author Jessica reluctantly enters a marriage of convenience but doesn’t count on the explosive chemistry she shares with her mysterious husband. “The sexual tension is strong between Devlin and Jessica from the first page” (Romance Reviews Today).
Masquerading as her twin during her sister's wedding rehearsal is almost too much for Jessica Parks. Shy and innocent, Jessica isn't sure about pretending to be her brazen sister, but she's more worried that the deception puts her squarely in the path of Devlin Hunter, the fiancé.
Cold, ruthless and destructive, Devlin is marrying for business reasons only. To her shame, Jessica is intensely attracted to her sister's arranged fiancé. She believes that Devlin only needs someone to love -- and love him back -- to bring out the best in him. But she'll never know. Once the wedding rehearsal is over, she will switch places with her twin and stay away from Devlin.
That's Jessica's plan until she finds herself nervously walking down the aisle in her sister's wedding dress to meet Devlin at the altar… and being swept up in his arms as he carries her into the honeymoon suite. Does she continue the charade or does she let her dangerously powerful husband find out that he has the wrong bride?
Previously published in 2001. (alpha male, contemporary romance, love story, marriage of convenience, virgin heroine)

"The Wrong Bride is not the usual role reversal plot. Jessica and Devlin are wonderful characters that find strengths neither knew they had. It is a wonderful happily ever after kind of story." -- Reader to Reader

Honestly, I wish this book was free because it was a waste of money and time. I feel really disappointed because the summary and sample were written very well. The first 2 chapters were good, but the rest went down hill pretty fast. There are numerous grammar mistakes, awful loop holes (like really really bad), the switch between point of views came out of nowhere, and the interaction between characters is truly cringe worthy. I don’t know even know if anyone took the time to edit this book. Anyone can go on Wattpad and read much better books than this for free, and support authors trying to get their name out there. Long story short, I think the author truly tried to write an intriguing story, but missed the mark by a whole lot. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!Product details

The Wrong Bride A Marriage of Convenience Romance edition by Susanna Carr Romance eBooks Reviews
It's a great book. I liked it.
very good, kept my interest. Enjoy her writing going to read more of her writings
Great book
This is a very good story about switched brides to be! An added bonus is a short story involving the sister who was really supposed to get married! A good story on twins switching places & the trouble that follows!
Just a romance Harlequin style. I liked the hero from the beginning and knew that he was a good man. I liked how he knew from the start she wasn't the right twin, or should I say, was the right twin. I liked his sense of humor with her and how he wanted to protect her. I wasn't sure about her twin and there were a couple of surprises along the way. The ending was wonderful. And the heat was actually incredibly hot and romantic and made me swoon. It wasn't just sex. I really loved it.
I really enjoyed this story.Tracy has asked Jessica to trade places with her only for the wedding rehearsal. She tells Jessica that she needs to be in New York to "romance" a programmer to come work for the firm that her step-father has. But she's really trying to take over the company. She wants to be in charge. Little does she know that her "fiance" knows about her trip and also about why. He also knows it's Jessica at the rehearsal and at the wedding. Jessica is so scarred about what is happening. Then Devlin tells Jessica he knows she's not Tracy. She denies it of course. But he wisks her to Las Vegas and marries her anyway.. She signs her real name because she has to. They return to Devlin's home which is nothing like she imagined. She was a city girl not a country girl. But she must live with her husband. Finally she meets her mother-in-law, who shows up unannounced. She is hateful to Jessica and says that Devlin should have left her at the altar like planned. There was so much more to the story. In the end, Jessica and Devlin are in love, they have a child and her stepfather is who is Devlin's father, wants to be part of their lives. They just don't want him in it because he is toxic. Tracy meanwhile has met her match in Devlin's assistant Nick who she had an affair with and really wants to marry her. They end up together and all's well that ends well.
I really liked Devlin and Jessica's love story. It had drama, angst, intrigue, humor, and a couple twists. Devlin and Jessica had explosive chemistry in and out of the bedroom. I felt bad for her throughout the story because of the number of duplicitous people surrounding her but by the end she had grown stronger because of Devlin's love and support and he learned the meaning of true love because of Jessica. I liked the third person dual POVs. It's always nice knowing what's going on in both main characters' minds. But sometimes the abrupt change from one to another messed with the flow of the story. Page breaks or new chapters would have been nice at the switches. I normally don't read bonus material included with books but since the secondary story dealt directly with the main book I read Sister Switch and enjoyed learning why Tracy never came to Jessica's rescue. It wasn't anything like I imagined. Both these short stories are definitely worth the read and I'm happy that I gave it a try.
